The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro (PCERJ) put an end to the criminal trajectory of Iago de Souza Pilar, aged 20, nationally known in the criminal underworld as Manu Gaúcha or the “Queen of abundant enjoyment”. On the run since April 2025 and sentenced to 24 years in prison for robbery and extortion, the woman was located and captured this Tuesday (24/3), in the Realengo neighborhood, West Zone of the capital of Rio de Janeiro.
According to the portal, the criminal used profiles on adult content websites with highly persuasive texts to attract “high-level” victims. In her advertisements, she described herself as “super affectionate”, offering moments of pleasure in short stays in different cities, a strategy that facilitated the application of scams to men, most of whom were committed.
The Modus Operandi: From Seduction to Threat
The investigations detail a cold and calculated scheme, where the “Queen of abundant enjoyment” took advantage of the victims’ vulnerability and fear of exposure.

The Meeting: After attracting the customer through apps, Manu Gaúcha used fake names. At the meeting place, under threat of a knife, she stole money, goods and even passed values through card machines.

The Extortion: The crime did not stop at theft. She kept records of previous conversations and negotiations to demand sums of money later, under the threat of sending evidence of betrayal to the victims’ families.

Profile of Victims: The focus was on married men or men with high purchasing power, who avoided reporting crimes so as not to compromise their social image or marriages.
