The company ruled out the risk of diesel oil shortages in Brazil and stated that there is sufficient supply to meet national demand in the coming months.
According to the Secretary of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels, Renato Dutrathe country has available volume both through domestic production and imports. According to him, supply is guaranteed at least until April.
On the occasion, the representative highlighted that there is no shortage of the product on the national market and that the government has been monitoring possible irregularities. He also stated that measures are being adopted to curb abusive practices, such as unjustified price increases or refusal to offer fuel.

Furthermore, Dutra highlighted that the guideline is to closely monitor the performance of agents in the sector, with the aim of ensuring balance in supply and avoiding distortions in the market.
The statement comes amid recent concerns about fuel supply in the country, especially in light of fluctuations in the international scenario. However, according to the ANP, Brazil is able to meet demand without the risk of shortages in the short term.
