Israel claims it has bombed missile manufacturing facilities in Tehran
Israeli aircraft bombed ballistic missile production facilities in Tehran overnight, as well as launch vehicles and warehouses in western Iran, the Israeli army said in a statement.
“The Israel Defense Forces (IDF, army) continue to operate relentlessly against the regime’s ballistic missile system, with the aim of reducing the scope of attacks targeting Israeli civilians,” the note states. “The IDF attacked places and infrastructure used by the Iranian terrorist regime to produce weapons, mainly ballistic missiles,” reads the military statement.
It also reports that in western Iran, they have bombed “several targets related to the firepower of the Iranian terrorist regime,” such as “shuttles” and “missile storage sites.”
The attacks occur while the United States and Iran negotiate, with the mediation of Pakistan, the end of the conflict. In recent days, Israel has maintained its bombings against the Islamic republic, although they have largely focused on military rather than political targets. (EFE)
