Vienna – With an additional 500 million euros per year, the government now wants to implement reforms in the health system; the plan is to strengthen office-based care, prevention and digitalization. Health Minister Korinna Schumann (SPÖ) signed the regulation for the health reform fund, from which the funds come, on Friday. At a press conference, the minister emphasized that the fund was the “beginning of a turnaround” in the health system.
