Boris Kollár received sad news on his way to Prague: His daughter was crying a lot! The last period was very difficult

Former playmate and well-known face of Slovak show business Andrea Heringhová is going through one of the most difficult times in life. At the age of 69, her beloved father Ľubomír left her forever. The sad news also hit her former partner and politician Boris Kollarwho expressed himself in an interview for the newspaper.

The information about Heringh’s father’s passing was confirmed by the obituary. “It is with deep sadness that we announce to family, friends and acquaintances that Ľubomír Kanás left us on March 28, 2026 at the age of 69. The last farewell to the deceased will take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the local cemetery in Komjaticie with Holy Mass/ul. March 28,” announced the funeral home on the social network. Heringhová herself shared this message with a photo of her late father. You can find it in the gallery.

For many years, she was an official couple with ex-head of parliament Boris Kollár, to whom she gave birth to daughter Sara Zoe and son Boris. That is why not only she, but also the father of her children, is experiencing these difficult moments. He had a very close and correct relationship with Mr. Ľubomír.

“I learned this last Sunday after the trip to Prague, where I went with my daughter Sarka and son Artur. The plan was to see the exhibition of veterans, I wanted to show them the Orloj and the Charles Bridge. This news caught us in the car and the daughter cried a lot. She had a beautiful relationship with her grandfather, just like me.” he described an awkward moment.

He took Sara Zoe, whose mother is Heringhová, with him on the trip. He has a son, Artur, with Barbora Richterová. “Andrejka and the children were very attached to him, they spent a lot of time with him and grandmother Darinka. He was very selfless and together with his wife, they helped Andrejka with the care of the children. That’s why she never had a babysitter.” he explained the workings of their once shared household.

Kollar remembers his former “father-in-law” with great respect and gratitude, highlighting in particular his unceasing energy. “He was a wonderful and very hardworking person. He also came to my house, he always took care of my garden, he took care of every job, he often cut my trees, he couldn’t be obsessive, he was an exceptional man,” he recalled.

He openly admitted that Mr. Ľubomír’s health had deteriorated in recent years. “About four years ago he had a small accident while on holiday in Capri and since then his health has deteriorated. He has also had heart surgery in the past. The last period was very difficult, the family did everything for him, but the care was already so demanding and the condition so serious that you required hospitalization in the hospital, where, unfortunately, he breathed his last. He will be greatly missed by all of us.” he added.
