Startups: Alura reinforces leadership with Maurício Aniche and Leonardo Secundo

The Alun Group, Brazil’s technology and business education ecosystem, formed by Alura, FIAP, PM3 and StartSe, announces strategic changes in Alura’s leadership and the creation of a new business unit focused on the development of products based on artificial intelligence.

Sérgio Lopes, co-founder of Alura, leaves his position as the school’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to take on the leadership of Alun Future Studio, an initiative dedicated to the development and scaling of AI-based solutions.

“It’s not just any turning of the page. It’s the materialization of something I’ve been thinking about for a long time: how to transform everything we’ve learned about technology and education into tools that truly expand the capabilities of people and organizations. Future Studio was created with a clear purpose: to develop AI-native solutions, designed from the ground up with AI at the center of the architecture, business model and user experience”, said the executive in a post on LinkedIn.

The movement consolidates and complements the group’s role in training, marks its entry into the technology-as-a-product model and supports the goal of reaching R$1 billion in revenue by the end of 2026.

The new phase is accompanied by changes in Alura’s leadership. After a decade operating in Europe, Maurício Aniche returns to the group to assume the position of CTO. Having worked for companies such as Adyen and Uber, the executive is a reference in software engineering and technology education. In this position, he will be responsible for accelerating the school’s technological evolution and expanding the application of AI in educational products.

Alura’s marketing area is also reinforced with the arrival of Leonardo Secundo as director. With experience at The Coca-Cola Company and the MAG Group, the executive takes on the mission of expanding the brand’s presence and sustaining growth in new segments and markets.
