The Turn of Overcoming
The game was a real emotional rollercoaster. After winning the first set with authority, the Brazilian saw Togami react and turn the score to 2-1. Calderano looked for a draw, but again fell behind after a fifth set decided in detail (10/12).
With his back against the wall, the world number 3 dominated the last two parts, closing the game with a thrilling 11/9 in the deciding set.

Without rest, Calderano already knows his opponent in the fight for a place in the semifinals. The Brazilian will face the French Alexis Lebruncurrently 14th in the world rankings, in a duel that promises high technical intensity.
