Exchange of barbs between members of the right began on Friday; involves support for Flávio’s candidacy and publications about Pix
The federal deputy (PL-SP) and the deputy (PL-MG) exchanged public criticism on the social network X this Saturday (April 4, 2026). The disagreement began after Nikolas responded with “kkk” (laughter) to a post by the professor – follower of Olavo de Carvalho and critic of the Bolsonaro family.
“Snickering at me, @nikolas_dm? Apparently, there are no limits to your disrespect towards me and my family. Sad to see this caricatured version of yourself. He is not, by far, the boy I knew, supported and believed in”Eduardo.
The divergence began on Friday (April 3), when Eduardo shared a video by influencer Kim Paim. In the content, Paim criticized Nikolas for sharing a profile post “Space Freedom”who according to Eduardo does not support the candidacy of the senator (PL-RJ) for the 2026 Presidency.
By sharing the “Space Freedom”Nikolas criticized the president (PT) and attributed the creation of Pix to the former president (PL). The financial mechanism was developed by technicians from the Central Bank. The project began in 2018, under the management of (MDB), and was launched in 2020, under the Presidency of Bolsonaro.
Silvio Grimaldo responded to Eduardo Bolsonaro by publishing a print of Nikolas’ post, stating that the content was “against Lula and in defense of the boy’s father [Eduardo]“. It was in this context that Nikolas posted the comment “kkk”interpreted by Eduardo as mockery and disrespect.
Eduardo Bolsonaro also declared that the “fame is not good” to Nikolas and stated that the Minas Gerais congressman does not support Flávio Bolsonaro. Until the publication of this text, Nikolas Ferreira had not responded to the criticism. Other profiles linked to the right on X criticized Eduardo’s attitude in the comments on the post, including the federal deputy (PL-SP) and the councilor from Paraná (Novo-PR).

Despite opposing Eduardo’s attitude, in another publication, the federal deputy (PL-SP) also opponents of Bolsonarism on the networks. this Saturday (April 4, 2026) that the Minas Gerais native uses interactions on social media to expand the reach of content critical of Bolsonarism. He further said that “Nikolas has been training the algorithm for a long time to give visibility to everyone who hates Bolsonarism”.
According to Frias, Nikolas interacts with apparently neutral publications, which strengthens profiles that later criticize the Bolsonaro family or defend a null vote. “When Nikolas does this he takes his immense commitment and lends it to that person,” he stated. He added that the practice may seem harmless, but it has a similar impact to paid advertising. “It’s as efficient as paid sponsorship”, he wrote.
