The visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to China will take place very soon, preparations for it have already been completed. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a briefing in Moscow on Friday. TASR informs about it based on the report of the TASS agency.
“Indeed it will be soon. Preparations for the visit have been completed, all contacts have been made and all major points have been agreed upon,” specified Peskov. He added that they would make an official announcement “very, very soon” after consultations with the Chinese side.
In this regard, TASS recalled that the South China Morning Post, referring to its sources, wrote that the visit of the Russian president to Beijing is planned for May 20. Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping have already met more than 40 times as the highest representatives of their countries. They last held talks in Beijing last September. US President Donald Trump ended his visit to China on Friday.
