Leader of the PP in , Dr. Luizinho (RJ) says that the Lula government is playing politics with the issue of the end of , when the discussion should be technical.
The comment was made in reaction to the federal administration’s decision to accelerate its approval, even before the electoral campaign.
“The government is making policy, and using the constitutional instruments it has at its disposal. We respect this right, but this is a discussion that needs to be technical”, says the party leader, who is one of those closest to the president of the Chamber, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB).
According to him, the topic is complex and takes time to discuss. “It is not possible to examine a matter of this magnitude in a short period of time”, he says.
The government’s decision to send a bill tramples on the proposed constitutional amendment that is already being processed in the House and has the support of Motta.
