At least 188 dead in storms in Pakistan and Afghanistan

Kabul – More than 180 people have died as a result of severe storms in Afghanistan and Pakistan in the past two weeks. At least 188 people have died in floods and heavy rains since the end of March, the civil protection authorities of both countries announced on Tuesday. The spokesman for the Afghan civil protection agency, Mohammed Yussuf Hammad, put the number of people who died as a result of storms at 123.
