This Friday, Via Verde updates the price list for its services, with increases of up to 25% in some modalities, mainly in Via Verde Mobilidade Leve, used by customers who pay only in the months in which they use the identifier.

According to the economy portal, the new 2026 table affects occasional users more significantly, that is, those who use the system only in certain months to pass toll booths or use associated services, such as parking lots, service stations or restaurants.

According to the published values, it is precisely in this modality that the biggest increases are recorded, in a worsening situation that could lead many customers to rethink the contracted option.

Light Mobility concentrates the biggest increases

Until now, the monthly cost of Via Verde Mobilidade Leve was R$2.09 for customers with a paper invoice and R$1.59 for those who chose an electronic statement.

With the update that comes into force today, these values increase to R$2.49 and R$1.99, respectively. In practice, this is an increase of between 20% and 25%, depending on the billing method chosen.

This change makes the annual option more attractive sooner than was previously the case. If before it took around six months of use to compensate for the annual fee, now five months are enough for this solution to make more sense for many drivers.

Monthly rent hardly changes

In the case of customers who rent the identifier with a fixed monthly payment, the update is much lighter.

The price goes from R$1.03 to R$1.04 per month, while for users with an electronic statement it goes from R$0.53 to R$0.54.

Although residual, this increase follows the general update of the table and allows the company to adjust costs without a relevant impact on this customer segment.

There are modalities that maintain the same prices

Not all Via Verde services suffer worsening with the new table. The purchase of an identifier valid only for tolls costs R$45, or R$37.50 for those who subscribe to the electronic statement.

In the annual rent, there is only a slight increase, with the price going from 12.25 euros to 12.39 euros. For customers with an electronic statement, the value increases from R$6.25 to R$6.39.

The prepayment modality, available exclusively at CTT, maintains the current prices: 25 euros for class 1 and 5 vehicles, which include motorcycles, and 60 euros for vehicles in classes 2, 3 and 4.

Occasional users will be most affected

The impact of the update should be felt mainly among users who use the identifier only in specific months, as they are the ones who are most exposed to the increases in the Light Mobility modality.

For those who use Via Verde regularly throughout the year, the difference may be less significant, especially if they choose options with fixed or annual payments.

The new table comes into force in a context of adjusting operational and technological costs, at a time when the company continues to expand the services associated with the identifier beyond tolls.
