Singer and actress Nela Pocisková she will even have the Easter holidays associated with her second birth, which definitely did not go according to her expectations. In an interview for the portal, she revealed that she planned to give birth in a hospital, but in the end everything turned out completely differently, as she gave birth to her daughter Lianka in a car just a few meters from her house.
With her partner Filip Tům, she is raising a son, Hektor, who was born in 2016, and two years later, a daughter, Liana, was born, but under dramatic circumstances. “I just realized that I gave birth to Lianka in the car on Easter. Actually, on Easter Monday… for me, my greatest experience is connected with Liana, so that’s about it for me.” admitted.
She immediately described the details of the fateful day. “Filip took the little one in the morning, because Hektor was already born. He was less than two years old, so he took Hektor to his grandmothers, aunts and friends,” she explained.
“So I stayed at my home with my birth doula at the time. We misjudged the situation a bit, but it wasn’t a plan. It was not at all planned that I would want to give birth at home and alone, by no means. I had an appointment with a doctor… but it got out of control,” she recalled.
She kept her cool during the labor pains as she wanted to make sure that she would know the time of her daughter’s arrival in the world. “I remember it exactly, I even looked when she was born to remember the time. It was exactly 2:00 p.m.” clarified and at the same time revealed that Lianka knows this story intimately. “Yes. When someone asks her where she was born, she says in the car,” she said with a laugh.
He still does not understand the seriousness of the whole situation. “Well, in my opinion, she can’t really realize what actually happened. We didn’t really talk much about it. She records exactly where it was because she asked me about it. Just 500 meters from our house is actually the stadium of FC Ivanka pri Dunaji, and the doula parked her car in front of that stadium. That’s when the ambulance came and Liana was born there. Every time we pass by, he asks: ‘Mommy, was I born here?’ and I’ll tell her I do,” she clarified their conversations.
Easter is also associated with other memories. “I also have it connected with children because I have a lot of children, so I need to have a lot of decorations, a lot of eggs, a lot of chocolates, a lot of cakes baked… I also associate it with a very strong Christian holiday and subsequently with my grandmother. We spent our entire childhood with her in the east, traditionally including the Easter holidays. There it was sloshing, the water was pouring, a joy,” added.
