Washington – US President Donald Trump has stepped up his dispute with central bank chief Jerome Powell. If he doesn’t vacate the Fed’s board of directors after a change of staff at the top of the central bank, he will have to fire him, Trump told the TV channel Fox Business on Wednesday. At the same time, he expressed his confidence that Powell’s successor, Kevin Warsh, who he nominated, would soon be confirmed in the parliamentary process.
