Before the performance, the Queen of Pop released the song ‘I Feel So Free’ from her new album ‘Confessions II’
Madonna is back. In the early hours of this Saturday (18), the 67-year-old singer made a surprise appearance on Sabrina Carpenter’s show no festival Coachellaconsidered one of the biggest music events in the world, held annually in Indio, California.
Sabrina left for the veteran’s entrance during the song Junowhen he usually makes some sexual joke in the part where he sings “Have you tried this one?”. Instead, Madonna appeared on stage, to the sound of Voguea 1990 classic.
The two they amended with Bring Your Love, a duet announced on stage and which will be part of the pop queen’s new albumConfessions II, arriving on digital platforms on July 3rd. The song has not yet been officially released.
Finally, Madonna and Sabrina they sang another hit, Like a Prayerfrom 1989. “Exactly 20 years ago, I performed at Coachella,” said Madonna. “I was in the dance tent and it was First time I sang Confessions on a Dance Floor Pt. 1 in the United Statesand that was a huge emotion for me”, he recalled.
“Can you imagine what it’s like exciting to be back 20 years later with the same boots, the same corset and the jacket I was wearing before, a Gucci jacket. It’s as if the cycle has closed, you know? It’s very meaningful to me,” she added.
Madonna also thanked Sabrinaa 26-year-old singer who has established herself as one of the greatest forces in pop in recent years, and reinforced that “the best thing about music is that it brings people together.”
“It’s the only place where people need to put their differences aside. Leave their disagreements aside and everyone just have fun together, right? I am really happy for being part of this healing experience that brings people together,” he said.
Madonna’s new song
Shortly before the surprise appearance, on Friday (17), Madonna made the first official song from his new album. Titled I Feel So Free, the song is a dance track that talks about feeling free on a dance floor.
