President Donald Trump said this Tuesday (21) that American forces intercepted a ship who carried a “gift” from China to Iran.
The ship was carrying “a gift from China” that “wasn’t very nice,” Trump told CNBC.
“I was a little surprised,” he added, before stating that he believed he had an “understanding” with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Last week, Trump announced that Xi had assured there would be no shipments of Chinese weapons to Iran, a longtime partner of Beijing.
