Ana Paula Renault wins record prize of R$ 5.7 million from “BBB”

44 years old, won the 2026 edition of Big Brother Brasil. The definition was on Tuesday night (April 21, 2026). The girl from Minas Gerais won R$5.7 million by winning the TV Globo with 75.94% of the votes. The award was the largest in the entire history of the program.

According to Globothe 2026 edition of the reality show reached a daily average of 26.3 million viewers. In total, 21 advertisers ran 282 advertising actions in the edition. The shares sold by the broadcaster total R$1.1 billion.

Politicians celebrate victory

The federal deputy (Psol-MG) said in her profile on X that it is a “I am proud to see a woman from Minas Gerais, from Belo Horizonte, occupying and winning with so much courage in the BBB”. The congresswoman stated that the victory “Shows that firmness, political awareness and struggle make a difference, inside and outside the house.”

The federal deputy (PT-MG) also celebrated the journalist’s victory. “Deserved victory and a good omen for the Brazilian people”wrote the deputy on his profile on X.

During Ana Paula’s participation in the program, the PT directory in São Paulo and party congressmen clippings of the participant’s speeches to boost content on social media.

The party published statements by the journalist dealing with the end of the 6 x 1 scale, Minha Casa, Minha Vida, Bolsa Família and privatization.

Loss of father

The lawyer and former federal deputy Gerardo Renault, father of the journalist, on Sunday (April 19, 2026) in Belo Horizonte (MG) at the age of 96. Gerardo had been hospitalized since April 3rd. The cause was not disclosed.

A TV Globo decided to inform the participant of the reality show by calling her in the confessional on Sunday night (April 19). Even with her father’s death, Ana Paula decided to continue on the program.
