The president (PT) criticized again, in a speech this Thursday (23) and indicated that he should increase the tone of attacks on his opponents during the electoral campaign.
He did not directly mention Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), who must be his main competitor.
“While Trump wants to make war, we want to teach the African people to make peace by producing food”, declared the PT member at the opening of the Brasil na Mesa Fair, held at one of the headquarters of Embrapa (Brazilian Agricultural Research Company), in Brasília.
“It’s full of people who want to manage this country and have no idea what it means to manage,” said the PT member, in a reference to his opponents in the electoral dispute.
“There are people who, if you look at their CV, don’t have anything worthwhile. But I’m not going to say anything now because there’s no election campaign yet. When there is, these truths will be more forceful, and we’ll be able to leave the liars naked in front of the cameras.”
Before the speech, during a visit to various sectors of the fair, Lula also mentioned the president of the United States.
“Now, when I travel, I’m going to try to take a jabuticaba plant to Xi Jinping. I’m going to try to take one to Trump, to calm him down. Jabuticaba is calming. Take passion fruit,” he declared.
