Linz – Blau-Weiß Linz has moved closer to staying in the Bundesliga. The former bottom team won 3-0 (0-0) against SCR Altach in front of their home crowd on Friday and extended their lead over the bottom team, WAC, to four points for the time being. Simon Seidl and Ronivaldo scored twice in the 66th and 68th minutes, and Dominik Reiter added another in stoppage time. It was the fourth win for coach Michael Köllner’s team in their fourth home appearance in the qualifying group.
