Madonna67, decided to promote his new musical project on a famous dating app for the LGBTQIA+ community. The singer is preparing to release “Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part 2” in July this year, following up on one of her most successful albums, released in 2005.
Anyone logged in will receive the limited edition, vinyl record, which has been dubbed by fans as the “Grindr Edition of Confessions II”. On her social networks, Madonna wrote: “Mother did something, just for you”, talking directly to gay men, a large part of her fan base and the biggest users of the application.
In an official statement, the application’s CEO, George Arison, commented on the action. “It’s an app that drives connections, shapes culture and builds community, and no one embodies that spirit like Madonna. She’s been empowering our community to express themselves for decades, so this feels less like a partnership and more like a homecoming,” he said.
The album is scheduled for July 3rd. In addition to promoting the products, the singer released the cover, which shows the music veteran with a pink veil and a look reminiscent of the outfit used in the visual identity of her album released more than 20 years ago. This time, she appears from the front, and no longer from the back.
