One Line 9-Esmeralda train derailedon Sunday night (26), near the Berrini-Casas Bahia station, in the west zone of São Paulo. According to ViaMobilidade, the situation was regularized this Monday morning (27).
In the early hours of the morning, passengers faced slow travel, with a 10-minute interval between stations. Cars were traveling on a single lane because of the affected section.
The PAESE system buses operated between Granja Julieta and Pinheiros stations as support for.
The derailed car was removed from the track at around 6:15 am this Monday and, currently, travel continues as normal at the stations.
According to ViaMobilidade, the concessionaire that manages the line, the causes of the incident are being investigated.
Problems on Line 9-Esmeralda
Last Friday (24), a on Line 9-Esmeralda caused slow travel for passengers. The largest intervals occurred between the Varginha and Jurubatuba stations.
According to ViaMobilidade, the company’s teams located a damaged cable between the Autódromo and Jurubatuba stations and stopped part of the line for passenger safety.
In March, a misalignment in the same station’s car caused stress for customers traveling between the Varginha and Bruno Covas/Mendes-Vila Natal stations.
Passengers had to get off the train and to continue traveling in another car.
