One partial derailment of a train on Line 9-Esmeralda, operated by ViaMobilidade, still caused effects on circulation on Monday morning (27). The incident occurred around 10:40 pm on Sunday, the 26th, near Berrini station, in the south of São Paulo.
This is the second episode of derailment on the line since March when a train derailed at Varginha station.
According to the dealership, one of the cars derailed towards Osasco, leading to single-track operations on the stretch. In a note, the company stated that There were no injuries and the disembarkation of passengers was carried out with the support of the assistance teams.
To reduce impacts, the Support Plan between Companies in Emergency Situations (Paese) was activated, with the provision of buses to cover the route between Granja Julieta and Pinheiros stations.
Maintenance teams remain on site and work to completely clear the road. The causes of the derailment are still being investigated.
