22-year-old suspect fled without providing assistance after the crime, which occurred on Saturday (25); victim, aged 20, was admitted to the Brasília Base Hospital
The Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF) arrested a 22-year-old young man in the act on Monday (27). accused of intentionally running over a woman 20 years old in Riacho Fundo I, Federal District (DF). The crime, recorded as attempted intentional homicide – when there is intention to kill -, occurred in the early hours of Saturday (25).
According to the police, the collision occurred between 0:30 and 0:50, at CLN 3 of Riacho Fundo I. A Military Police team was the first to arrive at the address and found that the perpetrator had fled the scene shortly after hitting the victim, without providing assistance.
The young woman was treated by teams from the Military Fire Department and taken to the Brasília Base Hospital for medical care.
The case investigations are under the responsibility of the 29th Police Station (Riacho Fundo).
