Motta announces Leo Prates as rapporteur of the commission on the end of the 6×1 scale

Federal deputy Alecar Santana will preside over the special committee that will deal with the PEC

The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), announced this Tuesday (28) the rapporteur and the president of the special committee that will try Proposed Amendment to the Constitution (PEC) that proposes the end of the 6×1 scale. The federal deputy Leo Prates (Republicanos-BA) is with the rapporteurwhile the federal deputy Alencar Santana (PT-SP) will preside over the board.

“I spoke with deputy Alencar and deputy Leo Prates, [sobre] the need to conduct the debate with balancelistening to everyone, the workers, the productive sector, the employers, the government, the Judiciary so that, in the end, the best possible text can be created”, declared Motta in an interview with journalists.

The President of the Chamber informed that the collegiate will be installed on Wednesday afternoon (28). To journalists, Alencar said he wanted the PEC to be approved in the Plenary of the Lower House in May.

O federal government sent, on April 14, to the National Congress an increase in paid weekly rest days. The proposal was forwarded with urgency. Thus, one of the Legislative Houses has up to 45 days to appreciate the PL.
