Vienna – Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger (Neos) and Interior Minister Gerhard Karner (ÖVP) will sign a mobility agreement with the Central Asian state in Uzbekistan next week. Both announced this on Wednesday after the Council of Ministers. The aim of the agreement is better cooperation in deportations – including of third-country nationals who arrived in Austria via Uzbekistan. At the same time, the “fair mobility of skilled workers” should be promoted.
