One of the passengers who was rescued in serious condition from the plane crash in Belo Horizonte, died in the early evening of this Monday (4). The information was confirmed by the Hospital Foundation of the State of Minas Gerais.
The plane crash, which occurred at around 12:20 pm this Monday, left a total of three dead: the pilot, a man who was sitting in the copilot’s seat and one of the passengers, who was hospitalized in serious condition, but did not survive.
According to the Foundation, the other two passengers who were taken to Hospital João XXIII remain hospitalized and are stable. The aircraft, a twin enginecollided with the structure of a three-story building located in Rua Ilacir Pereira Lima. The impact opened a hole in the building’s masonry before the vehicle fell into the parking lot, located in front of a supermarket.
Authorities reported that these were the people on board the aircraft: Wellington de Oliveira Pereira, aged 34, (pilot); (was in the copilot’s seat), 36 years old; Arthur Schaper Berganholi (survivor), aged 25; Leonardo Berganholi Martins (survivor), aged 50; and Hemerson Cleiton Almeida Souza (survivor), 53 years old.
The plane registered PT-EYT, in which they were, remained in the air for about . She was owned by Fernando, had been sold recently and was in the process of being transferred to Anac (National Civil Aviation Agency).

The plane had left Teófilo Otoni, in Vale do Mucuri, and made a stop at Pampulha Airport, in Belo Horizonte. The final destination was Campo de Marte Airportin the north of the capital of São Paulo. The information was confirmed to CNN Brazil by sources linked to the airport management.
In a note, NAV Brasil, the company responsible for air traffic control, stated that the takeoff from Pampulha took place around 12:16 p.m.. According to the Fire Department, the corporation was called to the accident at 12:21 p.m.

The plane did not have authorization for commercial operation under RBAC nº 135, which regulates air taxi services, nor under RBAC nº 121, aimed at regular air transport operations.
Still according to the data, the plane was also not authorized to carry out specialized air service (SAE) or instruction flights under RBAC nº 141, regarding instructional flights.
