Minister associates online betting with debt and promotes Desenrola 2.0 on social media

The minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, (Psol), criticized, this Tuesday (May 5, 2026) the digital influencers who promote “tigrinho”, an online betting game. On social media, he stated that content creators encourage the use of these games “to become a billionaire at the expense of the people’s debts”.

In the publication, Boulos announced the new phase of Unroll Brazil and defended the president’s government’s initiative to reduce debt. “Lula will help you get out of trouble and clear your name this year”wrote the minister in the caption of the publication.

According to him, the program offers discounts to defaulting consumers in different forms, such as credit cards, special checks and personal credit. The minister also stated that the program includes the possibility of renegotiating Fies (Student Financing Fund) debts, expanding the reach of the initiative.

Furthermore, the program allows the use of up to 20% of the FGTS balance to pay off debts, in addition to providing lower interest rates and installments adjusted to income.

Eligible debts must have been incurred in the last 2 years. According to Boulos, anyone who joins the program will not be able to bet on “betting” platforms for one year. He also advised interested parties to look for banks or creditor companies to negotiate debts within the program.
