Motorcycle sales rise 15.3% in April, says Fenabrave

Motorcycle sales grew 15.3% in April, compared to the same month last year, reaching 210.6 thousand units. Released this Tuesday (5) by Fenabrave, the entity that represents the dealerships, the balance shows that at the margin – that is, in the comparison between April and March – there was a 5% drop in the sale of motorcycles.

Motorcycle sales reached 782.5 thousand units from January to April, with growth of 19.2% compared to the first four months of last year.

The performance is due to the expansion of delivery services, in addition to the search for cheaper individual mobility alternatives.

Sales of motorcycles continue to surpass those of passenger cars, which totaled 659.3 thousand units since the beginning of the year.

According to the president of Fenabrave, Arcelio Junior, motorcycles are becoming a second vehicle for families.
