Budapest – Shortly before the change of government in Hungary, the police are investigating companies associated with the outgoing Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Investigators said on Tuesday evening that funds had been confiscated and accounts frozen on suspicion of embezzlement and money laundering. Companies owned by entrepreneur Gyula Balásy, which designed government campaigns for Orbán for over a decade, are affected.
