Israeli attacks in Gaza
According to information from the hospital and security sources, a separate attack on Daraj district in Gaza City left one dead and ten wounded. Among them was the son of the main negotiator of the movement, Khalil Hajja, who reportedly suffered serious injuries, writes AFP.
An October truce between Israel and Hamas somewhat halted the war in the Gaza Strip, which began with the movement’s attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. But violence continues and at least 837 Palestinians have been killed since the cease-fire began, the Health Ministry in Hamas-run Gaza said. The United Nations considers these figures to be reliable. During the same period, the Israeli army said it had lost five soldiers in Gaza.
