A drone disrupted operations at Prague’s Václav Havel Airport on Friday afternoon. One plane was diverted to Vienna and several other connections were delayed. The police detained one man in this connection. She stated this on the social network X, informs the correspondent of TASR in Prague.
“The unauthorized use of a drone in the no-fly zone of the Prague airport affected flight operations today. ICP Prague patrols in Prague-Ruzyn detained one person and seized a drone,” the police wrote.
Later, she clarified that it is a man born in 1988. She suspects him of the crime of general endangerment due to negligence. “At the present time, that is all that can be said on the matter except the general statement that even flying with drones has its own rules and some places are completely prohibited for this activity,” emphasized the police.
