The Military Police of São Paulo arrested, on Thursday (7), five people for the crimes of drug trafficking and theft. The arrests took place during Operation Impacto Força Total, carried out in the west of the capital. A teenager was arrested for an offense similar to drug trafficking and released to his parents.

The action focused on combating the crimes of robbery and theft of cell phones and valuable objects in the regions of Pinheiros, Vila Madalena and surrounding areas. Three people were arrested for drug trafficking, two for theft, in addition to the teenager arrested.

During the actions, 428 portions of drugs were seized, including: marijuana, cocaine, crack, skank, ICE, dry, ecstasy, perfume launcher and methamphetamine. In addition, four cell phones were seized and two motorcycles were collected.

In all, 62 military police officers participated in the operation, distributed in 19 vehicles. The Águia helicopter also supported the action. The force brought together Radio Patrol, Tactical Force, Special Police Action Battalions (Baep) and Mounted Police teams.

According to the corporation, the operational planning was defined based on criminal analysis, police intelligence and georeferencing, allowing policing to be directed to areas with a higher incidence of incidents.
