Survey Washington Post–ABC News-Ipsos released on May 3 shows that disapproval of the North American president is 62%, the highest level of his 2 terms.
The study, carried out from April 24 to 28, shows that 37% of those interviewed approve of Trump’s performance.
According to the survey, the population is dissatisfied with the conduct of the economy, inflation and the cost of living. These are central factors for the electorate and the political scenario on the eve of the mid-term legislative elections, scheduled for November this year.
The survey also shows that Democrats lead the preference for the House of Representatives by 5 pp (percentage points) among registered voters. The advantage rises to 9 pp among those who say they are certain of voting, a sign of greater electoral mobilization.
