The last sound saviors for music lovers

An inconspicuous door on Lindengasse in Vienna’s 7th district leads to an equally inconspicuous workshop for music electronics. When you enter, you stand in front of a reception desk behind which Eva Hanten-Schneider has been sitting and coordinating operations for 40 years. Further back, in the nine square meter workshop, Manfred Sinnl, electrical engineer, and Konrad Hanten, master of communications electronics, work. He says: “We repair everything here that has music coming out and anything that works with electricity. It just has to fit through the door.”
