Elon Musk, owner of Tesla and SpaceX, recorded in 360 degrees this Thursday (May 14, 2026) the atmosphere in the Great Hall of the People, in Beijing, upon arriving at the event linked to the summit between the USA and China. The place was the scene of a meeting between Xi Jinping (CCP), president of China, and Donald Trump (Republican Party), president of the United States.
In addition to discussing geopolitical issues, Trump also aims to sign trade agreements with China, especially to benefit North American technology companies, such as Tesla and SpaceX.

Trump is the first US president to visit China in 9 years. The last time a head of the White House was on Chinese soil was Trump himself, in 2017. Before him, the last visit was by Barack Obama (Democratic Party), in 2016. On that occasion, Obama was not in Beijing, but in Hangzhou, for a G20 meeting.
During the meeting, that the relationship between China and the United States in the coming years will determine the future of humanity. The Chinese leader highlighted that the two countries have more interests in common than differences.
Xi said China and the United States have a responsibility to ensure global stability. “We must be partners and not rivals”, said the Chinese president at the opening of the meeting.
