The senator and pre-candidate for President (-RJ) said this Friday (15) that new conversations or reports of meetings he had with the owner of , , could become public, but stated that the contact he maintained with the former banker was restricted to the film about the former president (PL).
“A little video could be leaked showing the studio, which I may have sent to him, or some meeting I may have had with him. It was all to deal exclusively with the film. There will be no surprises. There will be no new things,” he said in an interview with CNN Brasil.
According to Flávio, in total, the owner of Master – currently – invested US$ 12 million (around R$ 60 million, at current prices) in the feature film entitled “Dark Horse” (“underdog”, in English).
“The planned budget was US$24 million, but all of this was not raised. What was invested by him [Vorcaro] in this private fund, 100% proven, it was an amount a little over US$ 12 million and something in dollars”, he said.
Information about the ex-president’s son’s attempt to get more money from the ex-banker for the production was revealed by The Intercept Brasil and confirmed by Sheet on Wednesday (13).
The Federal Police suspect that the amount may have come from the former deputy (-SP) in the United States, where he has lived since February 2025. This is because the resources would have gone to a fund controlled by Eduardo’s allies and based in Texas, in the USA.
Flávio Bolsonaro once again denied that his brother benefited from the money and stated that he asked the American fund to make the film contract available or for Go Up Entertainment, the film’s producer, to provide an accounting of the use of the resources.
The company.
“There’s a way to prove it. What I asked today was for the private fund to make the contract available or for there to be accountability from the producer in Brazil. I think this is enough for people to see, with their own eyes, that all the resources allocated to this US private fund were 100% invested in the film.”
Asked about the new statement that states that Eduardo acted as executive producer of “Dark Horse” and, therefore, had power over the resources, Flávio said that the information would refer to an old contract.
“This is an old contract, formalized with the producer long before there was this entire structure in the United States. That was the legal platform for Eduardo to put money and secure the screenwriter, Cyrus [Nowrasteh]”, he declared.
According to the senator, he and Vorcaro met in person “a few times”, all to discuss production. He said again that the Master’s owner was not yet investigated and stated that, at the time, the banker was a “star”. “He circulated well among authorities in Brasília and was courted by banks.”
Flávio also said he sought out the then banker because he was not honoring the contract.
“The last installment of investment he made was in May 2025. Therefore, there wasn’t all this confusion that we know about his performance. This didn’t exist at the time, just as it didn’t exist in December 2024, when he agreed to make this private investment in this private film. The conversation was monothematic, so that he could see the investment he was making”, he stated.
“There is no possibility of any relationship between me and Daniel Vorcaro appearing that is not exclusively about the film”, he added.
