Celebrating 35 years of operation, Ceert promotes between Tuesday (19) and Wednesday (20) rounds of debates on topics related to racial justice, democracy, climate change, education and social inclusion.
The event “Anti-Racist Dialogues Ceert 35 years: Democracy, and Equity” takes place at Sesc Avenida Paulista, with free entry.
“Brazil is experiencing a decisive moment in the face of the challenges posed by the climate crisis, the advancement of authoritarian discourses and persistent inequalities”, says Daniel Bento Teixeira, executive director of the organization.
“Bringing together different sectors of society to discuss democracy, climate and racial equity is fundamental to thinking about a country project committed to rights, social participation and good living.”
In addition to the lectures and panels, there will be a workshop this Tuesday, entitled “Implementation of the Anti-Racist and Anti-Sexist Guide – Change with Them”, focused on promoting racial and gender equity.
