An agent from british police was honored in the United States after helping to save the life of a US agent during some vacation in Nashville, in the state of Tennessee.
The episode occurred on May 7th. Sergeant Taylor Johanson, 34, was on vacation in the North American city when he witnessed a violent aggression against Officer Peter Kinsey of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.

According to the report released by authorities, the suspect, a 43-year-old man, managed to immobilize o agent North American and even caught the arma police duty, shooting one shot while it was still in the holster.
Given the gravity of the situation, Johanson immediately left the vehicle e physically intervened to ward off the attacker.
The suspect was eventually subdued and detained using a taser, after the arrival of police reinforcements.

After the incident, Johanson was officially received at the Nashville police headquarters, where he received several distinctions symbolic tokens, including commemorative coins and the promise of an engraved watch — a tribute normally reserved for agents with decades of service.
The British police officer, however, returned to the United Kingdom, keeping in touch with the American colleagues he met because of this frightening moment.
