Atlas/Boomberg: 64% believe that conversations between Flávio and Vorcaro weaken the senator’s candidacy

Survey shows that around 13% believe that the release of the audios ‘strengthened the candidacy’

The Atlas/Bloomberg survey released this Tuesday (19) points out that, for 64,1% of Braziliansthe dissemination of messages between senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) and the owner of Banco Master, Daniel Vorcaro, weakened the parliamentary candidacy to the Presidency of the Republic.

According to the survey, 45,1% assessed that “weakened a lot” e 19% opined that “weakened a little”.

On the other hand, 13,4% consider that the leak “strengthened the candidacy”. To 15% of participants, dissemination of material “didn’t affect” the senator’s competition. The voters who did not know how to answer 7,3%.

The data shows that the issue reached almost the entire electorate. The research shows that 95,6% of people said have knowledge about the leaked audio and messages. Of these, 93,9% declared have heard the material in question.

Despite the release of the audios, former president Jair Bolsonaro’s base maintains support for the senator. For voters who voted for Bolsonaro in the 2022 second round, 84,2% argue that Flávio should maintain his candidacy for Presidentcontra 12,6% who opine for name removal to support another candidate. Those who don’t know represent 3%.

Methodology

The AtlasIntel/Bloomberg survey interviewed 5,032 people across the country, between May 13th and 18th. The margin of error is plus or minus one percentage point, with a 95% confidence level. The survey is registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under number BR-06939/2026.
