The first week of the competition will take place in Brasília; Brazil debuts on June 10th against Iran
The Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) announced this Tuesday (19) the list of 30 players signed up to represent the country in this year’s edition of the men’s volleyball Nations League (Voleyball Nations League – VLN), which brings together the 18 best-ranked teams in the world.
The first week of the competition will take place in Brasília, which for the fourth consecutive year will host a week of the event. Amarelinha’s debut will be against Iran, on June 10th (a Wednesday), at 8pm (Brasília time), at Ginásio Nilson Nelson. Brazil is looking for its second VLN title – the first was obtained in 2021. 
In addition to the 20 athletes called up by coach Bernardinho last Thursday (14), 10 other players made the list, including libero Alê Elias (Cruzeiro), opposite Samuel (Minas), setter Rhendrick Resley (Praia Clube) and striker Robert (Sesi Bauru). After the debut against Iran, Brazil competes the next day against Belgium, also at 8 pm. Afterwards, the team takes the court against Serbia on Saturday (13), at 11am; and on Sunday (14) they face Argentina at 6pm.
After Brasilia, the VLN goes to Ljubljana (Slovenia) and then ends the first phase in Chicago (United States). At the end of the first phase (three weeks), the eight best teams will compete in the quarterfinals (elimination phase), scheduled for the period from July 29th to August 2nd, in Ningbo (China).
A week before the opening of the men’s tournament, the Ginásio Nilson Nelson, in Brasília, it will host the women’s volleyball Nations League. Led by coach José Roberto Guimarães, the Brazilians will debut against the Dutch on June 3rd (Wednesday), at 8pm. At the same time, the following day, Amarelinha will face the Dominican Republic. The last two home games will be against Bulgaria, on Saturday (6), at 11 am, and on Sunday (7), at 2:30 pm against Italy. The list of 30 players registered in the VLN was released by CBV last Wednesday (13).
