Senator Leila do Vôlei must be part of the ticket; vacancies for lieutenant governor and alternates for the Senate remain open
The Regional Directory of in the Federal District made official this Tuesday (May 19, 2026) pre-candidacies for to the Government of the Federal District and the federal deputy to the Senate.
The event of the Brazilian Federation of Hope, composed of PT, PV and PC do B, was held at the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center, in Brasília, with the presence of party supporters.

CRITICISM OF THE GDF
During his speech, Kokay criticized the management of former governor Ibaneis Rocha (MDB) and his deputy, the current governor of DF, Celina Leão (PP).
“We are here to say that we are going to transform this city! We are going up the ramp at Palácio do Buriti to say that this city cannot be the city where we witness the real looting of public finances, it cannot be the city where the government embraces the business community and turns its back on the people who live here”, said the pre-candidate.
Grass followed the criticism and stated that, while Brazil “move forward”Brasilia is “walking backwards”. The pre-candidate said there was a weakening of the BRB with the Banco Master case. According to the PT member, the PT project for the DF will face the “far right”.
“This incompetent right-winger, who put Brasília in the worst moment of its life. Nobody is here because they received money from the Master. Nobody is here because they received money as bribes”Grass said.
Throughout the event, the speeches highlighted that Brasília should have a governor aligned with the president (PT). They also stated the importance of Lula winning the October elections in the first round. The national president of PT, sent a video to the event reinforcing these statements.
