China confirms the import of 200 Boeing planes

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce confirmed this Wednesday (May 20, 2026) that the country closed the purchase of 200 planes from . It is the North American manufacturer’s first order for the Chinese market since 2017. The agreement was reached during the visit of the President of the United States (Republican Party) to Beijing last week.

The purchase was initially announced by the North American president during an interview in the Chinese capital.
