Datafolha: 88% of Flávio voters support candidacy after “Dark Horse”

Datafolha research released this Friday (22) shows that 88% of voters who declare their vote for the senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) believe that he should remain in the presidential race even after the revelations involving the “Dark Horse” case, a biopic of the former president Jair Bolsonaro.

According to the survey, among Flávio votersonly 10% stated that he should give up his candidacy, while 2% said they did not know how to give an opinion.

In the general sample, 48% believe that the senator should withdraw from the race and support another candidate. Another 44% support him remaining in the presidential race, while 8% were unable to answer.

The survey also shows that 72% of Flávio’s voters said they were aware of the case, a percentage above the 64% recorded in the total sample.

Among those interviewed who intend to vote for the senator, 53% believe that he acted well when asking former banker Daniel Vorcaro for money, while 37% believe that he acted badly. Another 10% said they did not know how to give an opinion.

In the general sample, however, 64% said that Flávio acted badly, 25% said he acted well and 11% did not know how to answer.

Furthermore, the survey shows that, among voters who intend to vote in the senater, 67% stated that their trust in him did not change after the conversations were released. Another 18% said that trust had decreased, 14% said it had increased and 1% did not know how to respond.

Methodology

2,004 people were interviewed across the country between May 20th and 21st. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus. The confidence index is 95%.

The research was carried out with the institute’s own resources and is registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under protocol BR-07489/2026.
