PT member questions Muralha Paulista at the Public Ministry – 05/26/2026 – Panel

State deputy Antonio Donato (PT-SP) asked the Public Ministry to investigate possible irregularities in the contracting of the management program (Republicans).

Donato questions the fact that the company Palladium was hired for R$475 million, with no need for bidding, by the state-owned Prodesp to implement and expand the park of sensors and systems for the monitoring program.

After the contract with Palladium, Prodesp (São Paulo Data Processing Company) signed an agreement with the SSP (Public Security Secretariat), which runs Muralha Paulista.

According to the deputy, Prodesp was used as a “bridge to enable acquisition without public competition”.

To the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Donato demanded that the entire contract be investigated and any “characterization of improper contractual intermediation for artificial removal from the bidding”. It also calls for an audit of the prices charged by the company and comparison with equivalent solutions available on the market.
