American actress Anne Hathaway (43) revealed that she has been suffering from cataracts since her thirties. Due to the early onset of this health problem, she was almost blind in one eye.
“This is perhaps too personal information. I was half-blind for ten years. It had such an effect on my vision that I was basically legally blind in my left eye, and I ended up having surgery. I didn’t realize how much it had gotten worse until I finally saw the full color spectrum again.” Anne described in an interview with the New York Times.
After the procedure, she began to value sharp and high-quality vision more. “I value my sight because I feel like every day I wake up and see the way I do is a miracle,” added Hathaway.
