The Government of Brazil criticized this Friday, in a note, the decision of the United States, the day before, to classify the two most powerful groups. “We will not accept the use of arbitrary measures from abroad as a pretext to attack our sovereignty and our economy,” states the statement in which it does not explicitly refer to the Trump Administration’s decision. President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has accused Senator Flávio Bolsonaro in a public event, in this year’s elections, of “betraying the country by going to the United States to ask for intervention in Brazil,” Reuters reports.
