In an action at the São Paulo Court of Justice, he requests compensation for moral damages of R$2 million from Zambelli.

“Despite her conviction in the STF, she will not need to serve her sentence there in Europe, in freedom. In the meantime, I have to fundraise to be able to file a lawsuit for moral damages”, says the journalist.
The persecution took place on the eve of the second round of the 2022 election, in Jardins in São Paulo.
After being arrested in Italy due to this episode, the former parliamentarian was released in May, after the Supreme Court of Cassation, the last instance of Italian justice, denied authorization for her to be extradited to Brazil.
