At the end of May, Nuno Santos was sentenced to five years and six months in prison effective for its role in the operation. The alleged right-hand man of the network received a suspended sentence of four years and six months, while the mother of the main defendant was sentenced to four years and three months in prison, also suspended. Nuno Santos’ companion ended up acquitted due to insufficient evidence.
