He spoke to Fox News about the new US attacks on Iran, stressing that Israel was not involved in them at all. The American president also said that “the options for further attacks on Iranian soil remain open.”
“The Iranians asked me to stop the bombing, we will stop soon,” he added. “We will crush them if they don’t agree with us tomorrow,” he added.
At the same time, a Washington official told Fox that US forces continue to strike targets in Iran.
Tehran denies
An Iranian official refuted Trump and described as a lie the US president’s communication with the Iranian leadership to end the attacks.
According to Iran’s ISNA news agency, Trump instructed his aides to convey through Qatari intermediaries the following message to Tehran: “These attacks were a reaction to the Iranian drone incident that nearly killed the crew of the Apache helicopter, and not the start of a new full-scale war.”
Iranian strikes on US bases in the Gulf
However, Iran did not end hostilities there and attacked American bases in the Gulf.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced retaliation against US forces in the region, specifically targeting bases in Kuwait and Bahrain.
At the same time, Iranian media broadcast information about clashes in the Strait of Hormuz area, which CENTCOM did not confirm.
The Guards also said they fired 12 ballistic missiles, targeting US aircraft at Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan, which is considered strategically important to US operations in the region.
The US embassy in Jordan called on citizens to “immediately seek cover from above and take refuge in a safe place”. “Reports indicate that missiles, drones or rockets are in Jordanian airspace,” he said.

“We will make the area hell”
The head of the Revolutionary Guards Aerospace Force (IRGC), General Majid Mousavi, warned that “American insolence” will be met with “hell” in the wider region, according to Iran’s Tasnim news agency.
In his statements, Mousavi also referred to the Straits of Hormuz, claiming: “Are you making the sacred Strait of Hormuz unsafe? We will make the region hell for you from all over Iran.”
“Following repeated violations of the ceasefire by the US enemy, the Straits of Hormuz will remain closed until further notice,” the Revolutionary Guards navy said. “No ship should leave its anchorage in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. Any approach to the Strait of Hormuz will be considered cooperation with the enemy,” the Revolutionary Guards navy said.
Washington – which imposes a blockade on Iranian ports – has denied that the straits are closed. “Merchant vessels continue to transit the Strait of Hormuz tonight,” CENTCOM said.
