Mexico is hosting a FIFA World Cup for the third time, something no other country can boast of. For this commitment, Javier Aguirre, technical director of the national team, has chosen 26 athletes who will try to achieve the feat of reaching the desired fifth game or beyond.
The national squad, located in Group A of the tournament, will face South Africa, South Korea and the Czech Republic in the first phase. These 26 profiles, of different origins, contexts and careers, are the footballers who prevailed from a preliminary list that originally included 55 names.
